The Project
Girl Gamer is an online community and magazine for female gamers.
We were chosen to do all of the visual design, from the logo and branding to the final site interface. The coded pages were then handed off to their own team to program and implement.

Homepage
This is the homepage for the site, featuring our custom made javascript slideshow that flips through items automatically. The page has bits representing all the other parts of the site.

Game Page
Each game has a stylized header using artwork provided by the manufacturers, if available. Everything related to the game—reviews, guides, media, forum posts, etc.— is accessible on this page through the different tabs.

Forum
The main interactions and activity take place in the forum, where all the members can discuss pretty much anything. We designed the forum system to have gamer-centric features such as showing their favorite games under their avatar.9
